Remaining positive and composed during such times is just as important as it is hard. Choose optimism over pessimism because hope is infinitely better to live with than negativity.
You cannot resolve all of the world's problems, but you can change your little part of it to be better for everyone you come in contact with. Listen to positive songs, watch family movies/animes, take walk, try to understand each person's points of view, calmly talk into matter unless it's out of line, do what makes you feel free.

Make an effort to find a positive side in everything
You can even turn a negative thing into something good by focusing on the positive. Once you decide that you’ll not let external factors control your temperament, you will notice a slight change within you, a ray of hope. That’s the right start.

Remind yourself that you’ve decided to stay positive, calm, and happy come what may.
Always be grateful
Gratitude is the key to happiness, rather than focusing on the thing that you lack, try focusing on things that you already have. Because no matter how bad your life or day is going, that is a dream for someone else. Be grateful for little things like nature, people, and the opportunities you have. You can start writing journals to practice gratitude.

Surround yourself with positivity and positive people, who are happy when you are happy. Always prefer quality over quantity. Even if you have very few people in your life but if they are super supportive then that is enough you can ask for.

We are depressed and stressed out these days because we have lost our connection with nature and people. Humans are social animals, they are meant to live together. We are connected with nature from the core, we are made from five elements of nature and we will get along with it in the end. Mother nature is the ultimate mother, and there is no way you can stay positive after detaching from mother earth.
Spending some time outside in good weather will increase your energy, give you positivity.

Meditation is not just meant for a spiritual person, even if you are an atheist you can practice yoga and meditation every day. Meditation can help us to focus more, reduce stress and mental health problem. It can also help you to boost your immunity system and gives plenty of other health and mental benefits. Get enough sleep
Sleep is a kind of meditation, if you don’t consider sleep as a therapy of happiness then you are absolutely wrong. Bad sleep is one of the important reasons why people are getting negativity these days. Sleep can create positive and happy thoughts in your mind. So, to become a positive person every day 8 hours of deep sleep is very important.
If we don’t get enough sleep, negativity will take over our minds.
Express your feelings
They say if you can not cry loudly and openly, how are you will gonna laugh freely? To recover from negative thoughts you must acknowledge the thing that you are suffering only then you will be able to cure it. Running away or distracting yourself can help you to a certain period of time but after that, you will feel the same.
Reduce your worries
Worries are like a nightmare that becomes larger day by day, try to figure out all your problem then try to let them go. Find a solution, because taking stress won’t be a value add, rather it will make you feel negative. Let go of your fear.
Accept and find solutions
We all face different kinds of problems in our life, it is important for us to solve them, but if you are surrounded by plenty of problems, you freak out and get into negativity. In such a situation figure out what problem needs to be solved right now. make your preference then try to find the solution or ask for help.
